XAT Full Form and Definition

XAT is the short form of Xavier Aptitude Test. This test is conducted for admission to top management institutes across the country. The XAT is a national level aptitude test conducted by the XLRI, a management school located in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The test is usually conducted on the first Sunday of January. There is no official XAT full form or definition, though.

The XAT has similar format to other competitive admission tests like the GMAT and GRE. It tests a candidate’s ability to use time and apply critical thinking. It also measures their aptitude for key business skills. The XAT has been ranked as the toughest management entrance exam in India. To crack this exam, you must devote at least two months of preparation. Moreover, you should enroll in an XAT prep class to increase your chances of scoring well.

If you are looking for more information about XAT, you can visit the XAT website. This site contains a list of possible XAT full forms and a definition for each one. You can also visit these expanded form pages for detailed explanations and example usage. This will help you make an informed decision about which test is best for you. It is important to note that the exam fee is 1800 INR. You can pay it through Net Banking, Credit Cards or Debit Cards.

XAT has an MCQ section that has five answers and one correct answer. The questions are divided into four categories: vocabulary, para jumble, grammar, fill-in-the-blanks, and binary logic. Before filling out the form, you must register as a new user. Once you’re done with the registration, you can fill the form multiple times if you wish. It is recommended to do so as it gives you an edge over other candidates.

XAT candidates apply for XLRI’s undergraduate program. Applicants can choose two cities for the exam. To apply for XAT, applicants must submit an updated photograph in JPG format and signature in black ink on white paper. Once they have completed the form, they must pay the XAT application fee online. The fee is $125. If you want to take the test online, you can use a credit card.

XAT scores are considered equivalent to CAT and MAT, but students who have had difficulty scoring well in CAT and MAT will find XAT harder. Nonetheless, the majority of students apply for MAT exams and score well. The December examination is the most difficult to score well on, but the May examination is consistently good. There are no strict rules or age limits to apply for the test. MAT is a good test, and many management institutes use it.

The cutoff will vary between institutes, but meeting the cutoff criterion will be the first step in the selection process. Candidates will then be called for the personal interview and group discussion rounds. In these rounds, their performance in the XAT will be evaluated and considered before final selection. Considering that around 75,000 candidates apply to study for the XAT, the competition is tough. So, the question is, how do you get the admission?
